About Us

Bicycle Garage AZ is owned and operated by Harlan Krueger. Harlan has been in the bike business in South Dakota since the 80’s and is known as the regions most experienced bicycle mechanic. After spending many winters camping and biking in Arizona Harlan and his wife Dona moved from Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Fountain Hills permanently in 2008.

Harlan is certified by the Barnett Bicycle Institute and has previously been the head mechanic for the “Big Ride”, as well as numerous other positions on national rides. With so many years of experience you can be sure that Harlan will fit you with the right bike and keep your ride in great shape, even if you aren't.

Liz Nappen is Harlan's business partner. Liz and her husband Don moved to Fountain Hills from Fruita, CO in spring 2009. They fell in love with the area after many years of camping and riding trips to the area. They are avid Mountain and Road bike riders.
